Planned power outage required as Avista performs upgrades
Avista customers in Kettle Falls will experience an outage on Oct. 22
Spokane, Wash. Oct 17, 2018: Avista is performing infrastructure upgrades near Kettle Falls on Monday, Oct. 22. Customers in Kettle Falls and the surrounding areas will experience an outage between 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 6:00 a.m. on Oct. 22. Approximately 762 customers will be affected by the outage. Customers who will be impacted by the outage will be notified.
“The planned outage is required for our crews to complete work at the substation that serves the town of Kettle Falls and surrounding areas. The planned upgrade will reduce the need for future planned outages and increase the safety and reliability of our system,” said Cesar Godinez, Avista’s manager of operations in Colville.
