A Planned Power Outage Will Occur on November 11
Avista is performing infrastructure upgrades near Colville
Spokane, Wash. Nov. 6, 2018: Avista is performing infrastructure upgrades to the substation serving Colville, Evans, Orient, Laurier and the surrounding area. Approximately 5,465 customers will experience a disruption in service starting at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 10 and ending at 4:00 a.m. on Nov. 11. Customers who will be impacted by the outage will be notified. No road closures are expected during the planned outage.
Avista is continually updating equipment and infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of their system.
“The planned power outage is scheduled during non-peak hours to minimize the inconvenience to our customers. Every effort will be made to restore power as quickly and safely as possible,” said Cesar Godinez, Avista’s manager of operations for Colville.
